The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Diguinho Nunes put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Christian Drewitz. 9 minutes into the match, Toa Toa 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Offendahl came free, but João Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Blueskatterna fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when FC Blueskatterna's Sigvard Björk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Toa Toa 4EVER getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Edgar Munhoz hit a great ball. Diguinho Nunes charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diguinho Nunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 minutes of play, FC Blueskatterna's Sigvard Björk made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Freitas was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Åke Offendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toa Toa 4EVER's João Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Offendahl in the 47th minute of play. When Acácio de Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toa Toa 4EVER's protests and gave Acácio de Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. Acácio de Alcântara hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The Toa Toa 4EVER players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Blueskatterna were winning 1-5.
