Candelaria FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balders Hage IF the free kick. Delmar Kelemen kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Balders Hage IF's Sverker Enström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Barros in the 17th minute of play. Sverker Enström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Peli, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Balders Hage IF's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Barros came free, but Sverker Enström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candelaria FC's Nemesio Bemabe got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nemesio Bemabe, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 29 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sverker Enström was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Tord Lundqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Marco Peli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Enström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balders Hage IF's Sverker Enström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Peli in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Candelaria FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Roman Barros hit a great ball. The Balders Hage IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Candelaria FC were winning 0-2.

A hard shot by Lorenzo Candelario from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got Sverker Enström's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sverker Enström didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 97th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Candelaria FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
