ALMA GUERREIRA's Luís Gustavo Pirani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save ALMA GUERREIRA from getting a goal against them. With 13 minutes on the clock, Ronaldo Souza commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in ALMA GUERREIRA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Luís Gustavo Pirani, was totally fooled by Bresikas's Gonzalo Jerrald, who 14 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some careless play in the Bresikas defense, Adhemar Branco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonzalo Beltza. The Bresikas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonzalo Beltza should have stopped the shot. After 20 played minutes ALMA GUERREIRA got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho Paranaense. Luís Gustavo Pirani made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Luciano Savion sent off a good shot on target. If Antônio Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. Bresikas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ALMA GUERREIRA the free kick. Gonzalo Jerrald hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, ALMA GUERREIRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiaguinho Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 53rd minute, Bernardo Rexino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bresikas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Adhemar Branco scored to the left of an out of position Gonzalo Beltza, making the score, 2-3. After a rather tough play, Bresikas's Gonzalo Jerrald got a free kick in the 60th minute. Gonzalo Beltza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adhemar Branco's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. When Maximo Thomsen fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bresikas's protests and gave Maximo Thomsen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, Bresikas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Thomsen to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 68 minutes, Antônio Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ALMA GUERREIRA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antônio Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Joel da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Fernando Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Gonzalo Beltza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Savion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bresikas's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Adhemar Branco 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-4. In the 92nd minute, Luciano Savion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bresikas's Gonzalo Beltza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Bresikas from getting a goal against them. Tiaguinho Paranaense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ALMA GUERREIRA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
