In the 8th minute, Bernardo Rexino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzalo Jerrald hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes AMAZON DU DAHOMEY got a freekick which was hit by Simon Oldham. Gonzalo Beltza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Featherstone, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's Jonny Astridge suffered a concussion after 20 minutes and had to leave the field. When Ramiro Montay fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bresikas's protests and gave Ramiro Montay a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AMAZON DU DAHOMEY booed when Bresikas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Montay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Beltza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reg Faith in the 26th minute of play. Evelio Janpier hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Gonzalo Beltza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Featherstone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 minutes Bresikas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Simon Oldham who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Sonny Featherstone almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bresikas's Gonzalo Beltza did a great save. Carlton Woodyat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Jerrald in the 40th minute of play. When Luciano Savion came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Bresikas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Savion couldn't finish the play. Aaron Saville hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the match Gonzalo Jerrald sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlton Woodyat skillfully saved the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonzalo Jerrald to make the kick off. Gonzalo Jerrald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Carlton Woodyat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jack Clay's late challenge caught a Bresikas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jack Clay helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's Jack Clay got a free kick in the 58th minute. When Evelio Janpier fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bresikas's protests and gave Evelio Janpier a yellow card for diving instead. Evelio Janpier kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. When Reg Faith came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the AMAZON DU DAHOMEY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reg Faith couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reg Faith in the 69th minute of play forced Bresikas's goalkeeper Gonzalo Beltza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes of play Bresikas's Ramiro Montay was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 75 played minutes Bresikas got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Savion. Jack Clay was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 78th match minute, AMAZON DU DAHOMEY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Clay to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Jerrald, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. During the 80th minute of the match Evelio Janpier completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Evelio Janpier a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Evelio Janpier hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. A collision led to Bresikas getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Luciano Savion hit a great ball. If Reg Faith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzalo Beltza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reg Faith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st match minute, Bresikas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Rexino to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Beltza was a little too slow when Reg Faith got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Ed Sawbridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Beltza having to interfere. AMAZON DU DAHOMEY were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
