Ferrán Casas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristoforo Cesare read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes of play, CRUZ DEL SUR's Adam Faraggi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristoforo Cesare was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristoforo Cesare came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by CRUZ DEL SUR's José Ignacio Berguecio. But to his dismay, José Ignacio Berguecio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cristoforo Cesare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Ignacio Berguecio in the 40th minute of the match. Enzo Ferraris charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enzo Ferraris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Borgo Doria F.C.! 1-3 came in the 43rd minute when Ferrán Casas all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Cristoforo Cesare. The Borgo Doria F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CRUZ DEL SUR were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Ignacio Berguecio to make the kick off. Felice Schiavo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Godofredo Mac Intyre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CRUZ DEL SUR's supporters rose to their feet, but José Ignacio Berguecio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristoforo Cesare breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 62 played minutes Borgo Doria F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alessio Di Maio. 66 minutes into the match, José Ignacio Berguecio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristoforo Cesare. Borgo Doria F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Ignacio Berguecio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. José Ignacio Berguecio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Borgo Doria F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Adam Faraggi 73 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-6. When Ferrán Casas fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CRUZ DEL SUR's protests and gave Ferrán Casas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CRUZ DEL SUR getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ferrán Casas hit a great ball. Damiano Gava kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. José Ignacio Berguecio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Cesare having to interfere. Godofredo Mac Intyre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felice Schiavo in the 80th minute of play. Antonello Burgnich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godofredo Mac Intyre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice Schiavo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the CRUZ DEL SUR defense, Felice Schiavo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Godofredo Mac Intyre. The CRUZ DEL SUR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Godofredo Mac Intyre should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute José Ignacio Berguecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Cesare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonello Burgnich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded CRUZ DEL SUR left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Borgo Doria F.C..
