In the 6th minute Aaron Zamorano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narcis Coman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Godofredo Mac Intyre managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Granicerul's Emanuel Cărtărescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aaron Zamorano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Narcis Coman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narcis Coman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Manuel Vlahovic in the 14th minute of the match. The corner led CRUZ DEL SUR's Ferrán Casas to fire away a dangerous shot which Narcis Coman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to CRUZ DEL SUR getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ferrán Casas hit a great ball. Dorel Albescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Godofredo Mac Intyre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adam Faraggi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 28 played minutes Dorel Albescu rounded CRUZ DEL SUR's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Dorel Albescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes of play, Granicerul's Doru Corbeanu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godofredo Mac Intyre was left in no man's land by his defense there! Granicerul's Toader Gabrea got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Ariztía's late challenge caught a Granicerul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenzo Ariztía helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Lorenzo Ariztía hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorel Albescu's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Godofredo Mac Intyre on his right side and into the goal. 48 minutes into the game it was 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Emanuel Cărtărescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Narcis Coman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Ignacio Berguecio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Podador Arraño during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Granicerul booed when CRUZ DEL SUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Podador Arraño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toader Gabrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narcis Coman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Faraggi in the 63rd minute of play. Juan Manuel Vlahovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Narcis Coman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CRUZ DEL SUR's zone, Emanuel Cărtărescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Mac Intyre came out of the goal and Emanuel Cărtărescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Podador Arraño got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 83rd minute, Podador Arraño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Toader Gabrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Nicolae Stan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Faraggi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolae Stan kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Dorel Albescu charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorel Albescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Zamorano got free with Narcis Coman in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Many of CRUZ DEL SUR's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. CRUZ DEL SUR may have spent more time on the ball, but Granicerul were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
