In the 4th play minute Jay Mueller came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Narcis Coman. 1-0. In the 6th minute, Nathanial Buckner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Emanuel Cărtărescu put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Junior Hemphill. In the 13th match minute, Granicerul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorel Albescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th match minute, Khachatryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daron Thorne to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Narcis Coman managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Khachatryan's Del Cleveland fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alistair Leslie did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Narcis Coman 22 minutes into the match. Doru Corbeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Hemphill having to interfere. Del Cleveland struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Narcis Coman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Khachatryan. Junior Hemphill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doru Corbeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Junior Hemphill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Cărtărescu in the 36th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Dorel Albescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dinu Băbescu hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Granicerul's goalkeeper Narcis Coman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Radu Jușcă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Hemphill having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Granicerul's Niculae Petre got a free kick in the 59th minute. Narcis Coman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alistair Leslie, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Narcis Coman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alistair Leslie in the 65th minute of the match. Khachatryan's Junior Hemphill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Corbeanu in the 66th minute of play. Del Cleveland hit a great ball. Narcis Coman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daron Thorne in the 75th minute of play. Narcis Coman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alistair Leslie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After recieving a nice pass, Khachatryan's Daron Thorne tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Niculae Petre was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. A collision led to Granicerul getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Niculae Petre hit a great ball. Narcis Coman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nathanial Buckner, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, Granicerul's Nicolae Stan got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Khachatryan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
