After recieving a nice pass, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Eduard Nechifor tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 4 minutes into the game, Codruț Ichimescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lengua de Lobo the free kick. Rigoberto Rosario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Șerban Bălcescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Rosario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Ichimescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Alex Maleș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Rosario having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Lengua de Lobo got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Lugo. With a little luck, Lengua de Lobo's Rigoberto Rosario got control of the ball when Șerban Bălcescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 19 played minutes Lengua de Lobo got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Nabar. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Eduard Nechifor shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 20th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rigoberto Rosario but with some difficulty. After 23 played minutes Alex Maleș rounded Lengua de Lobo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Rigoberto Rosario was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alex Maleș showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Alex Maleș notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Lengua de Lobo's Rigoberto Rosario. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Maleș to make the kick off. Șerban Bălcescu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Eduard Nechifor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rigoberto Rosario. Rigoberto Rosario was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
