The supporters of -BZF- Barca de Buzau booed when JEMBer UTara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Januar Sahetappy didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, JEMBer UTara's Ján Čok got control of the ball when Ovidiu Pătrașcu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ján Čok took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Pătrașcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Januar Sahetappy was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 12 minutes had been played. Valeriu Băcioiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ján Čok. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valeriu Băcioiu ran back to his position shaking his head. Codruț Ichimescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Ovidiu Pătrașcu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JEMBer UTara's Ján Čok was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Calistrat Bara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ecep Priambodo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ján Čok didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Codruț Ichimescu went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Calistrat Bara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ecep Priambodo in the 38th minute of the match. Ovidiu Pătrașcu struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ján Čok didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for -BZF- Barca de Buzau. In the 45th minute Ovidiu Pătrașcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Čok saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calistrat Bara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kia Trihatmodjo in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovidiu Pătrașcu was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Grigore Tatomir managed to get in a good position for a shot. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's supporters rose to their feet, but Grigore Tatomir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ján Čok breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th match minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Șerban Bălcescu to maneuver through the defense. JEMBer UTara's Ján Čok played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidiu Pătrașcu in the 69th minute of play. Șerban Bălcescu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Calistrat Bara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Barca de Buzau from getting a goal against them. 75 minutes into the game, Ecep Priambodo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Calistrat Bara. Ecep Priambodo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Mugur Onitiu got a free kick in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidiu Pătrașcu during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidiu Pătrașcu to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the game, Costin Titulescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JEMBer UTara the free kick. A collision led to -BZF- Barca de Buzau getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Costin Titulescu hit a great ball. Ovidiu Pătrașcu might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ján Čok. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ovidiu Pătrașcu ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the match, Ovidiu Pătrașcu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ján Čok. JEMBer UTara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidiu Pătrașcu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ján Čok stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidiu Pătrașcu's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. -BZF- Barca de Buzau had won after a very even match.
