Rolando Medina's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Urbes Cenzano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 20 minutes into the game, Eriberto Honesto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acratas Unidos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Puerto Quito the free kick. After 20 played minutes Acratas Unidos got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Honesto. Rolando Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbes Cenzano having to interfere. Iza Ramin hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Rolando Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbes Cenzano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Puerto Quito booed when Acratas Unidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Erruki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urbes Cenzano had great luck who in the 42ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Rolando Medina from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 46thth minute of the game Rolando Medina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Puerto Quito's Urbes Cenzano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Llantada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Acratas Unidos's Evelio Gines proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Acratas Unidos from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Medina in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbes Cenzano saved Club Puerto Quito from getting behind. Acratas Unidos's Evelio Gines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iza Ramin in the 62nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Llantada during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Club Puerto Quito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Llantada to maneuver through the defense.
