In the 3rd minute Cheche Vacas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robinho Bittencourt charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robinho Bittencourt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Gurdurão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robinho Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. Xuoco Urquijo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Fernando Mendes having to interfere. Carlos Fernando Mendes was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Cheche Vacas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cheche Vacas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Gurdurão's Basílio Prado got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Gurdurão's zone, Xuoco Urquijo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Fernando Mendes came out of the goal and Xuoco Urquijo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the match, La Mora CAT's goal looked a bit too open when Anísio Paraibano came free, but Breixo Torrent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave Gurdurão a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anísio Paraibano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of La Mora CAT's Breixo Torrent. 1-1. Carlos Fernando Mendes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atilio Morera in the 33rd minute. When Cheche Vacas came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the La Mora CAT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cheche Vacas couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Atilio Morera sped through Gurdurão's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Fernando Mendes. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

La Mora CAT's Luis-Alfredo Esperta was substituted for Xandro Balcells. A collision led to Gurdurão getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Anísio Paraibano hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Gurdurão defense, Cheche Vacas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Fernando Mendes. The Gurdurão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Fernando Mendes should have stopped the shot. Taurino Contratas hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Robinho Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xuoco Urquijo in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Fernando Mendes saved Gurdurão from getting behind. Carlos Fernando Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilio Morera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Xuoco Urquijo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilio Morera struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Carlos Fernando Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Mora CAT. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xuoco Urquijo in the 80th minute of play forced Gurdurão's goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atilio Morera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Carlos Fernando Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Mora CAT walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
