Gino Gonçalves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Staines Massive. With a little luck, West Staines Massive's Patrick Oliver Veith got control of the ball when Celsinho Aparecido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patrick Oliver Veith took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celsinho Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. West Staines Massive's Leopold Glowacz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gino Gonçalves in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Internazionale-RS's Celsinho Aparecido got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Leopold Glowacz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gino Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eberhard Romstedt made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Leopold Glowacz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. West Staines Massive's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Internazionale-RS the free kick. After a rather tough play, West Staines Massive's Leopold Glowacz got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Zé Augusto Mazza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leopold Glowacz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Gonçalves having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Teodoro Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, West Staines Massive's Eberhard Romstedt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gino Gonçalves. Gino Gonçalves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopold Glowacz in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gino Gonçalves saved Internazionale-RS from getting behind. When Alfredinho Macedo fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Internazionale-RS's protests and gave Alfredinho Macedo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Internazionale-RS getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Alfredinho Macedo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Hubert Michelsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Staines Massive's supporters rose to their feet, but Hubert Michelsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gino Gonçalves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Eberhard Romstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The West Staines Massive players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
