BigBalls's Vladas Mikutavičius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save BigBalls from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, Pranas Vadalauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Rubinho Prata reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vladas Mikutavičius. The goal made the score 1-0. Antônio Carlos Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Vladas Mikutavičius made a huge save. After 31 played minutes Nada Pontual F.C got a freekick which was hit by Rubinho Prata. In the 36th minute Petras Bazaras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evandro Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Paulo Custódio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladas Mikutavičius having to make a save. When Arūnas Šileika fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BigBalls's protests and gave Arūnas Šileika a yellow card for diving instead. Nada Pontual F.C's Rui Romero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for BigBalls. The supporters of Nada Pontual F.C booed when BigBalls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petras Bazaras didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Vladas Mikutavičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubinho Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, José Paulo Custódio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vladas Mikutavičius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antônio Carlos Paiva's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute Antônio Carlos Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladas Mikutavičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Eliseu Sena in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BigBalls's Liudvikas Damušis. In the 79th minute of the match Nada Pontual F.C got a corner. BigBalls's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rui Romero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rui Romero made a great header on Nada Pontual F.C's corner, it was just that BigBalls's Vladas Mikutavičius managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petras Bazaras during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to BigBalls getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Petras Bazaras hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Rubinho Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
