Válbson Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Válbson Aguiar came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Nada Pontual F.C's Antônio Carlos Paiva. But to his dismay, Antônio Carlos Paiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Raí de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Nada Pontual F.C booed when ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wiliam Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléber Mendes in the 32nd minute of play forced Nada Pontual F.C's goalkeeper Evandro Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubinho Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson Aguiar having to interfere. Ronaldo Alves hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Antônio Carlos Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Válbson Aguiar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Deivid Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Nada Pontual F.C were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 56th minute Antônio Carlos Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válbson Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Nada Pontual F.C's Rubinho Prata slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Válbson Aguiar. That made the score 0-3 after 58 minutes of play. When Antônio Carlos Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Nada Pontual F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Carlos Paiva couldn't finish the play. A collision led to ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Luciano Mangueira hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes Nada Pontual F.C got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Carlos Paiva. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's goalkeeper Válbson Aguiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Wiliam Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evandro Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Nada Pontual F.C's Rubinho Prata slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Válbson Aguiar. That made the score 0-4 after 85 minutes of play. Evandro Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Mendes in the 90th minute of play. Antônio Carlos Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute.
