The Vykans Vikingar fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Vykans Vikingar's Bo Wallman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bo Wallman in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Carozza saved Rosenborg from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Wallman in the 21st minute of play forced Rosenborg's goalkeeper Flavio Carozza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Casper Göransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bo Wallman made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Rosenborg's zone, Bo Wallman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Carozza came out of the goal and Bo Wallman tried to chip the ball over his head. When Attilio Coscarella fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 64th match minute, Rosenborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Coscarella to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Casper Göransson could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Flavio Carozza however easily saved by the left post. Cosimo Paolini's late challenge caught a Vykans Vikingar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosimo Paolini helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when Rosenborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casper Göransson came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Flavio Carozza could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kasper Stålman during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vykans Vikingar eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
