Taquaritinga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antônio Ferreira should have stopped the shot. Antônio Ferreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bülent Korkmaz in the 34th minute. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Antônio Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bülent Korkmaz in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute Bülent Korkmaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Délio Coelho got free with Mike Maignan in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A.C Barak's Mike Maignan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save A.C Barak from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the game, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Erivaldo Vergílio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mike Maignan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. After 95 minutes, Humberto Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Atl. Taquaritinga and the A.C Barak players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Clube Atl. Taquaritinga getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Humberto Andrade hit a great ball. In the 96th minute of the match Mustafa Cumhur Cansal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antônio Ferreira skillfully saved the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
