After 12 played minutes El Pinar got a freekick which was hit by Nuxila Reguera. Tomas Olazarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Medardo in the 20th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Desiderio Alvarez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tomas Olazarra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 32 played minutes El Pinar got a freekick which was hit by Cordarrol Montez. In the 43rd minute, Ilixo Pose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in El Pinar's zone, Maximiliano Dalmu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Olazarra came out of the goal and Maximiliano Dalmu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Alvarez in the 47th minute of play forced El Pinar's goalkeeper Tomas Olazarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Desiderio Alvarez made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Txerran Maceda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cordarrol Montez's late challenge caught a Black Rose 1979's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cordarrol Montez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to El Pinar getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Cordarrol Montez hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the game, Desiderio Alvarez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomas Olazarra. Desiderio Alvarez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Tomas Olazarra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desiderio Alvarez in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, El Pinar's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Dalmu came free, but Tomas Olazarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Olazarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Dalmu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Black Rose 1979 getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Marcos Bladi hit a great ball. With a little luck, El Pinar's Tomas Olazarra got control of the ball when Desiderio Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Medardo in the 85th minute of play forced El Pinar's goalkeeper Tomas Olazarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Norberto Medardo notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of El Pinar's Tomas Olazarra. Tomas Olazarra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Black Rose 1979's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
