The audience thought a goal was coming when Petros Zabetas got free with Laércio de Almeida in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Cestarolli FC's Mateus Batista got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 17th match minute, Panthiseiakos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petros Zabetas to maneuver through the defense. Mateus Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Flávio Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cestarolli FC's Tony Ribeiro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Panthiseiakos's Stathis Satrapis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Gomes in the 43rd minute of play. William Proença struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Stathis Satrapis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cestarolli FC. Stathis Satrapis came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Cestarolli FC's Tony Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Tony Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miltiadis Prevezanos was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ruy Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petros Zabetas in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laércio de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laércio de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miltiadis Prevezanos in the 66th minute of play. Laércio de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miltiadis Prevezanos in the 68th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Cestarolli FC's Flávio Gomes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stathis Satrapis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Cestarolli FC's Tony Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flávio Gomes might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stathis Satrapis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flávio Gomes ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Panthiseiakos booed when Cestarolli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball.
