Ciriaco Mikolas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelio Roig's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. The Capdevilla players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sperides were winning 0-1.

A collision led to Capdevilla getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Celso Abascal hit a great ball. Capdevilla's Ciriaco Mikolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmai Sirvent in the 54th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Sperides got a freekick which was hit by Ilixo Nueva. Bonifacio Maldonado kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Osvaldo Javiero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualterio Eutor was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Hechter Cabrera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ciriaco Mikolas made a huge save. If Xulian Barberá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Abascal in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Capdevilla's goal looked a bit too open when Xulian Barberá came free, but Ciriaco Mikolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciriaco Mikolas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Roig in the 84th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Roig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciriaco Mikolas was relentless in the 86th minute of the game.
