But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Arne Sjögren couldn't finish the play. After 34 played minutes Öllsjö FC got a freekick which was hit by Knut Uggstedt. In the 35th minute of the match Magdaleno Quintanilla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sverker Spets skillfully saved the ball. Sverker Spets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Quintana, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, C.F Intercity's Pedro Rodriguez got a free kick in the 39th minute. Adrian Josefsson kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The Öllsjö FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.F Intercity were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Näver was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Öllsjö FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Barck to maneuver through the defense. Sverker Spets was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedro Rodriguez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. Sverker Spets came out of the goal and Pedro Rodriguez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Sverker Spets successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sverker Spets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Rodriguez in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Beltran Cortes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.F Intercity's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Öllsjö FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, C.F Intercity's Beltran Cortes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 86thth minute of the game James Quintana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Öllsjö FC's Sverker Spets was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute Pedro Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Spets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Josefsson kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C.F Intercity eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
