Danilo Librado hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 11th match minute, Deportivo el Divague was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Ramirez to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Deportivo el Divague booed when Silver Squad AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwenn Du Sausois didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Danilo Librado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jochen Dockx showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno De Messemaekere in the 21st minute of play forced Deportivo el Divague's goalkeeper Ricardo Mattin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Silver Squad AFC booed when Deportivo el Divague was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Bizi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silver Squad AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Ermegildo Ramirez scored to the left of an out of position Jochen Dockx, making the score, 1-0. Danilo Librado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jochen Dockx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jochen Dockx having to interfere. Deportivo el Divague's Ermegildo Ramirez got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno De Messemaekere to make the kick off. Joos Van der Poorten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Mattin having to interfere. In the 71st minute Ermegildo Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jochen Dockx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaston Sustrai kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's Lorenzo Rockloos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Ermegildo Ramirez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. In the 83rd minute, Danilo Librado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th match minute, Deportivo el Divague was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Bizi to maneuver through the defense. Jochen Dockx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Silver Squad AFC's Walter Gheysen got a free kick in the 87th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hipolito Bizi during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Deportivo el Divague was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Bizi to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 94 minutes, Danilo Librado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo el Divague's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Librado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deportivo el Divague had played much better football throughout.
