Erman Çile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Hökkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erman Çile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Hökkvist in the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Oldham Athletic getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Max Håning hit a great ball. Oldham Athletic's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lefter Oğuzcan 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 29th minute Karl-Erik Fransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erman Çile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Oldham Athletic's goalkeeper Folke Smed had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Çakabey Onatsu. Çakabey Onatsus short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Folke Smed to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 39th minute, Karl-Erik Fransson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erman Çile was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 43 minutes of play, Oldham Athletic's Karl-Erik Fransson made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After the first half Oldham Athletic were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute Lefter Oğuzcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Smed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Oldham Athletic's goalkeeper Folke Smed, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Folke Smed stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Çakabey Onatsu's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Folke Smed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çakabey Onatsu in the 57th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, ☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆'s goalkeeper Erman Çile had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Hökkvist. Çakabey Onatsu took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Folke Smed. Folke Smed dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Oldham Athletic's Folke Smed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lefter Oğuzcan in the 76th minute of play. In the 81stth minute of the game Çakabey Onatsu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oldham Athletic's Folke Smed was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆'s Erman Çile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Axel Bure in the 86th minute of play. Çakabey Onatsu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Folke Smed read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The ☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
