The supporters of FURIOZA booed when Zijdewind SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudi den Hartog didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute Roch Cholewa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Lembeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, Roch Cholewa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FURIOZA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roch Cholewa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Zijdewind SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdi Dekens to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Waldemar Sroka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henry Lembeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilary Bomba in the 27th minute of play. When Olaf Dawiec came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the FURIOZA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olaf Dawiec couldn't finish the play. Henry Lembeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Domin, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. During the 45th minute of the match Edgar Piszczor completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edgar Piszczor a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 46th match minute, FURIOZA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Piszczor to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roch Cholewa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes FURIOZA got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Turok. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FURIOZA's goalkeeper Pit Bull, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the FURIOZA defense, Wilco Theuws kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pit Bull. The FURIOZA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pit Bull should have stopped the shot. Henry Lembeck was a little too slow when Roch Cholewa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudi den Hartog in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pit Bull saved FURIOZA from getting behind. Boguslaw Psotka charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boguslaw Psotka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Henry Lembeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roch Cholewa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FURIOZA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
