After 5 minutes of play, Tabalongo AFC's Yoel Prado made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Santana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haroldo Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Brotfeld in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Gregorio Colas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INCONA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tabalongo AFC the free kick. Gregorio Colas hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Tabalongo AFC's Jacob Garzo tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Haroldo Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yoel Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Adelino Harriet had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Gualterio Dubardo's late challenge caught a Tabalongo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualterio Dubardo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, INCONA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Dubardo to maneuver through the defense. In the 18thth minute of the game Ernesto Johans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tabalongo AFC's Siluna Mira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, Ernesto Johans reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Siluna Mira. The goal made the score 1-1. 25 minutes into the game, Xacobo Barbaste cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Haroldo Santana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xacobo Barbaste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Santana having to interfere. Tabalongo AFC's Siluna Mira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Tabalongo AFC from getting a goal against them. Yoel Prado hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Ernesto Johans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siluna Mira having to interfere. Haroldo Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xacobo Barbaste, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoel Prado in the 46th minute of play forced INCONA FC's goalkeeper Haroldo Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 50 played minutes Tabalongo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Brotfeld. Gualterio Dubardo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Siluna Mira. Tabalongo AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Yoel Prado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Haroldo Santana was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 61st minute of the match Gualterio Dubardo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Siluna Mira skillfully saved the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Tabalongo AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of INCONA FC:s goal. Siluna Mira had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Gualterio Dubardo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a defensive mix-up in INCONA FC's zone, Xacobo Barbaste stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Santana came out of the goal and Xacobo Barbaste tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, INCONA FC's Haroldo Santana got control of the ball when Xacobo Barbaste tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, INCONA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Brotfeld came free, but Haroldo Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, INCONA FC's goalkeeper Haroldo Santana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xacobo Barbaste. A collision led to INCONA FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Modesto Kauldi hit a great ball. After 84 minutes, Xacobo Barbaste mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tabalongo AFC and the INCONA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tabalongo AFC's Xacobo Barbaste got a free kick in the 84th minute. Xacobo Barbaste who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Haroldo Santana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xacobo Barbaste got free with Haroldo Santana in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, INCONA FC's Haroldo Santana got control of the ball when Xacobo Barbaste tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enzo Brotfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Santana having to interfere. The supporters of INCONA FC booed when Tabalongo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Langdon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Xacobo Barbaste came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Tabalongo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xacobo Barbaste couldn't finish the play. Tabalongo AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
