Zsombor Vályogos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantīns Bojārs, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Zsombor Vályogos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantīns Bojārs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 39 minutes, Konstantīns Bojārs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Annenieki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konstantīns Bojārs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ágyúsok FC's József Dobos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andrejs Sinders. That made the score 2-0 after 48 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcell Somogyi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gatis Āboliņš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zsombor Vályogos having to interfere. After 61 minutes, Nikolajs Vorkals mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Annenieki and the Ágyúsok FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Péter Gyurkovics recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, SK Annenieki's goal looked a bit too open when Marcell Somogyi came free, but Andrejs Sinders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zsombor Vályogos made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Konstantīns Bojārs sent off a good shot on target. Eduards Vectirāns charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduards Vectirāns the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience held their breath when Ákos Takács in the 70th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Andrejs Sinders's left hand side. 72 minutes into the match, Ágyúsok FC's goalkeeper Zsombor Vályogos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zigmunds Lasmans. Andrejs Sinders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from József Dobos in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, SK Annenieki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gatis Āboliņš to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Péter Gyurkovics sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SK Annenieki's Andrejs Sinders didn't even have to move. In the 92nd minute, Gatis Āboliņš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Zigmunds Lasmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tivadar Bökönyi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andrejs Sinders. SK Annenieki's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. SK Annenieki's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
