After some careless play in the Maravilla defense, Ariando Abeijon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herminio Iyan. The Maravilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herminio Iyan should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute of the match, Simon Rameriz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Silvestre Abancens saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gaskon Abeita hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Ariando Abeijon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herminio Iyan was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.

The wind increased when Simon Rameriz made the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Abancens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Rameriz in the 62nd minute of play. Gaskon Abeita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Herminio Iyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Saul Unax hit a great ball. Saul Unax charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saul Unax the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saul Unax kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Sportivo Chupeño's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Maravilla had won, even though Sportivo Chupeño had held more of the ball.
