Granadero10's Dadá Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Ortiz in the 3rd minute of play. Alberto Jimenez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá Favoretto having to interfere. Wilmer Gutierrez charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilmer Gutierrez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dadá Favoretto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Ortiz's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 11th match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediberto Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Ortiz in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dadá Favoretto saved Granadero10 from getting behind. Marcelo Alfaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dadá Favoretto. Granadero10's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 16 played minutes Granadero10 got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Torres. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Villacorta in the 18th minute of play forced Granadero10's goalkeeper Dadá Favoretto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Granadero10's Kauan Siqueira got a free kick in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the Granadero10 defense, Adolfo Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dadá Favoretto. The Granadero10 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dadá Favoretto should have stopped the shot. Granadero10's Dadá Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Pimentel in the 28th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Real Madrid de Guatemala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilmer Gutierrez to maneuver through the defense. Shawn Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kauan Siqueira in the 37th minute. Benjamín Medrano hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Jorge Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá Favoretto having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Ortiz made a kick off. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Rolando Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Doni Koehler hit a great ball. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Mauro Sosa was substituted for Julio Villacorta. After 71 played minutes Granadero10 got a freekick which was hit by Doni Koehler. Adolfo Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dadá Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ernani Palmeira hit a great ball. In the 83rd match minute, Real Madrid de Guatemala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Dadá Favoretto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Jorge Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Madrid de Guatemala played a much better game than Granadero10 and deserved their victory. The Granadero10 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
