In the 8th play minute Eriberto Godoi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dion Jefferies. 1-0. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carlisle United's goalkeeper Dion Jefferies, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felipe do Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Dion Jefferies made a huge save. The supporters of S.C.CHUÍ booed when Carlisle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Micheal Firth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Felipe do Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C.CHUÍ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Felipe do Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the S.C.CHUÍ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe do Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Renato Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Bastow in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Sammy Porter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dion Jefferies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Barreto in the 34th minute of play. Carlisle United's Dion Jefferies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Xavier in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Carlisle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danny Paine to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute of the match Laerte Barreto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dion Jefferies showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carlisle United's Dion Jefferies played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Xavier in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Ian Bastow got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ian Bastow made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Eriberto Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C.CHUÍ's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dion Jefferies breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renato Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Bastow, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Dorian Freire notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Carlisle United's Dion Jefferies. Dion Jefferies was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute, Felipe do Nascimento made a precise shot to the right of Dion Jefferies. Carlisle United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After 71 played minutes Carlisle United got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Everett. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carlisle United! Eriberto Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dion Jefferies tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marta Kante charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marta Kante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felipe do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ian Bastow came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Carlisle United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Bastow couldn't finish the play. After 86 minutes of play, S.C.CHUÍ's Nildo Xavier made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dion Jefferies was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dorian Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nildo Xavier in the 91st minute of play forced Carlisle United's goalkeeper Dion Jefferies to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nildo Xavier scored 7-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dion Jefferies, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. S.C.CHUÍ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
