Relyn Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Aílton Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petros Moustogiannis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Vieira made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Antonis Zotalis sent off a good shot on target. Zinon Liakopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Juan Vieira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonis Zotalis in the 18th minute. In the 25th minute, Tasos Terzis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Laércio Vianna came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Relyn Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laércio Vianna couldn't finish the play. Luís Fernando Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Moustogiannis having to interfere. Petros Moustogiannis came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Relyn Futebol Clube's Luís Paulo de Barros. But to his dismay, Luís Paulo de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. INTERISTAS's Petros Moustogiannis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo de Barros in the 37th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Antonis Zotalis made the kick off in the second half. INTERISTAS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Elder Munhoz scored to the left of an out of position Petros Moustogiannis, making the score, 0-2. Petros Moustogiannis came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Relyn Futebol Clube's Vitório Baiano. But to his dismay, Vitório Baiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Petros Moustogiannis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fernando Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, INTERISTAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omiros Gaitanis to maneuver through the defense. Juan Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Galanopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The supporters of INTERISTAS booed when Relyn Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loukas Kakitsis in the 73rd minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Juan Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. INTERISTAS's Petros Moustogiannis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo de Barros in the 78th minute of play. Elder Munhoz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petros Moustogiannis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Luís Paulo de Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Petros Moustogiannis made a huge save. Petros Moustogiannis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fernando Almeida in the 88th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Paulo de Barros got free with Petros Moustogiannis in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
