The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aşkın Hilal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anísio Quintal in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Sezgin Sadri notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of XV de Indaial's Lúcio dos Santos. Lúcio dos Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kazım Onal hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Severino Borges might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aşkın Hilal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severino Borges ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Laboon SK's Aşkın Hilal got control of the ball when Marcus Soeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anísio Quintal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Aşkın Hilal made a huge save. Marcus Soeiro hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Kuzey Ula was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laboon SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave XV de Indaial the free kick. After 23 played minutes Laboon SK got a freekick which was hit by Kuzey Ula. 26 minutes into the match, Sezgin Sadri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lúcio dos Santos. XV de Indaial's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sezgin Sadri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to XV de Indaial getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Narciso Cavalcante hit a great ball. Laboon SK's Aşkın Hilal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Laboon SK from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the XV de Indaial defense, Sezgin Sadri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lúcio dos Santos. The XV de Indaial fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lúcio dos Santos should have stopped the shot. Rafettin Üçer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lúcio dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behzat Ongul in the 44th minute of play. XV de Indaial's Lúcio dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sezgin Sadri in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sungur Bayrak in the 48th minute of play forced XV de Indaial's goalkeeper Lúcio dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Borges was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Lúcio dos Santos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Behzat Ongul got free with Lúcio dos Santos in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oktay İldemir charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oktay İldemir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Laboon SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of XV de Indaial:s goal. After some careless play in the Laboon SK defense, Severino Borges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aşkın Hilal. The Laboon SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aşkın Hilal should have stopped the shot. Anísio Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laboon SK were furious when Kuzey Ula was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 71st match minute, Laboon SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuzey Ula to maneuver through the defense. When Severino Borges came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the XV de Indaial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Borges couldn't finish the play. Aşkın Hilal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Borges in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behzat Ongul in the 77th minute of play forced XV de Indaial's goalkeeper Lúcio dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes Laboon SK got a freekick which was hit by Sungur Bayrak. Laboon SK's Aşkın Hilal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Quintal in the 83rd minute of play. In the 89th minute, Gerson Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafettin Üçer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lúcio dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Rafettin Üçer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laboon SK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
