After 2 played minutes Amelie FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Garin. Celestino Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Guifre, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Adolfo Fernado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evelio Refugio in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Santos Checa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amelie FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Nacional the free kick. In the 21st minute, Victor Guifre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes, Atlético Nacional's Evelio Refugio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adolfo Fernado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Nacional reached it. Evelio Refugio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Adolfo Fernado made a huge save. Evelio Refugio took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolfo Fernado. Adolfo Fernado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 31st minute, Armando Estevez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adolfo Fernado. The goal made the score 3-0. Antonio Garin charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Garin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Atlético Nacional booed when Amelie FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Garin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amelie FC's Adolfo Fernado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Amelie FC from getting a goal against them. After 38 played minutes Amelie FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Checa. A hard shot by Evelio Refugio from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Adolfo Fernado's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thanks to some nice moves Nicolas Aritza could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Adolfo Fernado however easily saved by the left post. Hugo Goizeder kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Amelie FC's Adolfo Fernado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Refugio in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evelio Refugio to strike the kick off in the second half. Saturnino Nardo took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolfo Fernado. Adolfo Fernado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 55th minute, Cecilio Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Amelie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Nardo came free, but Adolfo Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Armando Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Fernado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Victor Guifre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Celestino Bernal managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Amelie FC's Victor Guifre fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Amelie FC booed when Atlético Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Estevez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Amelie FC defense, Nicolas Aritza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Fernado. The Amelie FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Fernado should have stopped the shot. Hugo Goizeder hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Atlético Nacional's Evelio Refugio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Victor Guifre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Celestino Bernal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moises Locaio hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nacional's Armando Estevez got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 92 minutes of play Amelie FC's Santos Checa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. When the referee ended the match the Atlético Nacional players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
