With a little luck, River LOA's Ramon María Waddington got control of the ball when Mazinho Salgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mazinho Salgado didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 13th minute. A.A.100Qualidade's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! River LOA's Ramon María Waddington proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save River LOA from getting a goal against them. Rubens Barbosa got a throw-in 21 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edgard de Salles. After 23 minutes, Elear Garzón mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River LOA and the A.A.100Qualidade players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fábio Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Ramon María Waddington made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Edgard de Salles dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ramon María Waddington, 6-0. In the 46th minute, A.A.100Qualidade's Edgard de Salles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilesindo Schmidt to make the kick off. The supporters of River LOA booed when A.A.100Qualidade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.A.100Qualidade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazinho Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Germán Partarrieu fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River LOA's protests and gave Germán Partarrieu a yellow card for diving instead. Germán Partarrieu hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the game, Jose Ramon Franco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River LOA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.A.100Qualidade the free kick. After a rather tough play, River LOA's Jose Ramon Franco got a free kick in the 78th minute. The supporters of A.A.100Qualidade booed when River LOA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruesga Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramon María Waddington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazinho Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute.
