In the 3rdth minute of the game Paulo José de Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River LOA's Ramon María Waddington was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ramon María Waddington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. River LOA's Ramon María Waddington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Vidal in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilesindo Schmidt in the 9th minute of play forced ARS FUTEBOL's goalkeeper Zé Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo José de Barros in the 11th minute of play forced River LOA's goalkeeper Ramon María Waddington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Ever Riquelme in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ARS FUTEBOL's Maicon Recife. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davi de Senna got free with Ramon María Waddington in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. River LOA's Ramon María Waddington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Vidal in the 19th minute of play. Ramon María Waddington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo José de Barros in the 21st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Eduardo Vidal took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ramon María Waddington to make any attempt to save it. ARS FUTEBOL's Zé Almeida tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute of the match, Paulo José de Barros tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ramon María Waddington saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Darío Salinas's late challenge caught a ARS FUTEBOL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darío Salinas helped the player get up and apologised. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ulysses Dante charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulysses Dante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes River LOA got a freekick which was hit by Jose Ramon Franco. In the 55th minute of the match Gino Damião shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramon María Waddington showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 56 played minutes River LOA got a freekick which was hit by Darío Salinas. Ramon María Waddington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Vidal in the 60th minute of play. After 67 minutes of play River LOA's Darío Salinas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 68th minute, Darío Salinas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilesindo Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Almeida having to interfere. Davi de Senna's late challenge caught a River LOA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Davi de Senna helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, ARS FUTEBOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Davi de Senna hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Davi de Senna scored 3-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramon María Waddington, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 90 played minutes River LOA got a freekick which was hit by Ruesga Melo. Ramon María Waddington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Mónico Ancieta put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, River LOA's Mónico Ancieta got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the ARS FUTEBOL players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
