The supporters of Rasnita booed when Pardubice Hurricanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Božek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute, Leonard Chirculescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rasnita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Michal Božek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Șerban Iacobeanu. Michal Božek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 16th minute, Pardubice Hurricanes's Jiří Dusil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Șerban Iacobeanu. Șerban Iacobeanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 19th minute, Leonard Chirculescu made a precise shot to the right of Pavel Žalud. Pardubice Hurricanes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After 22 minutes, Radim Krška mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pardubice Hurricanes and the Rasnita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Șerban Iacobeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiří Dusil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sever Apostol fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rasnita's protests and gave Sever Apostol a yellow card for diving instead. Șerban Iacobeanu was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Michal Božek capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Michal Božek really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Michal Božek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Șerban Iacobeanu made a huge save. 45 minutes into the match, Rasnita's goal looked a bit too open when Jiří Dusil came free, but Șerban Iacobeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michal Božek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Șerban Iacobeanu having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gelu Tăzlăuanu made a kick off. The supporters of Rasnita booed when Pardubice Hurricanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Božek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jiří Dusil might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Șerban Iacobeanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jiří Dusil ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute, Michal Božek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pardubice Hurricanes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. After some careless play in the Pardubice Hurricanes defense, Leonard Chirculescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pavel Žalud. The Pardubice Hurricanes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavel Žalud should have stopped the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Rasnita's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Božek came free, but Șerban Iacobeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes Rasnita got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Siadbei. Michal Božek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Șerban Iacobeanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jiří Dusil went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-3 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute, Jiří Dusil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Șerban Iacobeanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-3. Dacian Doman kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Pardubice Hurricanes's Roman Rafael got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Șerban Iacobeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Božek in the 88th minute of the match. After 90 minutes of play, Pardubice Hurricanes's Radek Petřek made it 8-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Șerban Iacobeanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Gelu Tăzlăuanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rasnita's supporters rose to their feet, but Gelu Tăzlăuanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavel Žalud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rasnita's Șerban Iacobeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Božek in the 97th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rasnita players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pardubice Hurricanes.
