Hugon Zawaski charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugon Zawaski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugon Zawaski hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Vratislav Hlavnička kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Cyryl Percha struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Pavel Žalud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A. Nicola Zalewski was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tolek Pilitowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiří Dusil, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Nicola Zalewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Pavel Žalud managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Nicola Zalewski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 22 minutes into the game, Nicola Zalewski lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Pavel Žalud. The supporters of KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A booed when Pardubice Hurricanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radek Petřek didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Božek came free, but Tolek Pilitowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavel Žalud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kacper Urbański, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Jiří Dusil came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Pardubice Hurricanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jiří Dusil couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michal Božek in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolek Pilitowski saved KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A from getting behind. Tolek Pilitowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Božek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Pardubice Hurricanes's zone, Kacper Urbański stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavel Žalud came out of the goal and Kacper Urbański tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michal Božek to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdzislaw Czajka to maneuver through the defense. Roman Rafael was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Božek got free with Tolek Pilitowski in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the game, Michal Božek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tolek Pilitowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cyryl Percha hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Tolek Pilitowski came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pardubice Hurricanes's Michal Božek. But to his dismay, Michal Božek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Michal Božek's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tolek Pilitowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kacper Urbański in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pavel Žalud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tolek Pilitowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiří Dusil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, Michal Božek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tolek Pilitowski. Michal Božek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The Pardubice Hurricanes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pardubice Hurricanes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
