Sálvio Estrela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Aaron Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Fe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertino Lobato in the 10th minute of the match. Aaron Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albérico Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a left leg Aaron Fe saved Patricio Rey Futbol Club from getting behind. Aaron Fe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Lobato, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Aaron Fe came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Esquadrão Lusitano's Albérico Amorim. But to his dismay, Albérico Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Esquadrão Lusitano's Sálvio Estrela got a free kick in the 34th minute. Ivan Trindade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casimiro Gabon in the 35th minute. When Tomas Quilino fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patricio Rey Futbol Club's protests and gave Tomas Quilino a yellow card for diving instead. Tomas Quilino kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimiro Gabon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albérico Amorim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aaron Fe came out and tried to block the shot, but Albérico Amorim slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertino Lobato in the 60th minute of play forced Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goalkeeper Aaron Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Patricio Rey Futbol Club defense, Albérico Amorim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaron Fe. The Patricio Rey Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Fe should have stopped the shot. Ivan Trindade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimiro Gabon's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Tomas Quilino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Trindade was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Casimiro Gabon took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Trindade. Ivan Trindade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Albérico Amorim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Aaron Fe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ivan Trindade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Gabon in the 80th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Albérico Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Fe. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albérico Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. After 90 played minutes Esquadrão Lusitano got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Setúbal. In the 93rd minute, Albérico Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Esquadrão Lusitano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Patricio Rey Futbol Club throughout the match.
