Martin Pasqua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Nastasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciano Monico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lidon Bengoa in the 25th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Lidon Bengoa made a precise shot to the right of Luciano Monico. Quilaquina AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Martin Amenedo's late challenge caught a Quilaquina AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Amenedo helped the player get up and apologised. Martin Amenedo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Luciano Monico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Gay in the 36th minute of play. Luciano Monico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lidon Bengoa went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vinicio Nastasio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Gabriel Gay dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luciano Monico, 0-3. In the 61st match minute, Chivos de Punto Fijo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bela Gayoso to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristobal Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gabriel Gay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Luciano Monico made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Chivos de Punto Fijo's Luciano Monico threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bela Gayoso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luciano Monico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Amenedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lidon Bengoa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Luciano Monico skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Quilaquina AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Cordairo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Pasqua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeronimo Corrales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chivos de Punto Fijo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
