The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Vinicio Nastasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Dune's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Cordairo came free, but Hugo Nõmmiste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dune's Peeter Udal got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th match minute, Dune was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peeter Udal to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgilio Firme during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Virgilio Firme kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Chorache in the 23rd minute of play forced Dune's goalkeeper Hugo Nõmmiste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to Quilaquina AFC's Jonas Chorache getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 27th minute, Vinicio Nastasio made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Nõmmiste. Dune's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Jonas Chorache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Nõmmiste. Dune's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Chorache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Mario Federigo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Quilaquina AFC's Ignacio Bermudez got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Tõnis Aasamaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quilaquina AFC's Virgilio Firme couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dune. A collision led to Dune getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Paul Virmaline hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paul Virmaline to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Peeter Udal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luciano Monico was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Dune booed when Quilaquina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Virgilio Firme was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. Virgilio Firme kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Hugo Nõmmiste made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Chorache in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Cordairo in the 69th minute of play forced Dune's goalkeeper Hugo Nõmmiste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Cordairo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Hugo Nõmmiste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th play minute Jairo Cordairo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hugo Nõmmiste. 1-3. When Mario Federigo fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quilaquina AFC's protests and gave Mario Federigo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Jairo Cordairo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hugo Nõmmiste, passed just outside the right post. Peeter Udal's late challenge caught a Quilaquina AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peeter Udal helped the player get up and apologised. Jairo Cordairo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Nõmmiste having to interfere. Quilaquina AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
