After a rather tough play, YerBaTerOs's Rubén Raireta got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Salas Justo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Mendez Gamones successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. YerBaTerOs's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Guillaume Barillot scored to the left of an out of position Mendez Gamones, making the score, 1-0. In the 43rd minute, Gérard Chambard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erwin Avellano made a kick off. YerBaTerOs's Mendez Gamones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yazid Debuire in the 55th minute of play. Saint Côme de Fresné's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Erwin Avellano scored to the left of an out of position Noël Clenet, making the score, 1-1. After some careless play in the YerBaTerOs defense, Guillaume Barillot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mendez Gamones. The YerBaTerOs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mendez Gamones should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 65 in the game by Erwin Avellano from a close distance when the talented Noël Clenet managed to make a qualified save. Saint Côme de Fresné's players were relieved. 69 minutes into the match, YerBaTerOs's goal looked a bit too open when Guillaume Barillot came free, but Mendez Gamones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mendez Gamones came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Saint Côme de Fresné's Guillaume Barillot. But to his dismay, Guillaume Barillot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Saint Côme de Fresné's Guillaume Barillot got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yazid Debuire in the 94th minute of play forced YerBaTerOs's goalkeeper Mendez Gamones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saint Côme de Fresné's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Côme Durieu in the 96th minute. A collision led to Saint Côme de Fresné getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Yazid Debuire hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Saint Côme de Fresné had won after a very even match.
