Régis Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelian Otopeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. REAL RIO CRVG's Régis Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandru Pintilie in the 29th minute of play. The Armada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Alexandru Pintilie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The long shot by Teodor Chitoran in the 90th minute really tested Régis Mota's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 93rd minute, Dorin Mereuță left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Armada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Armada's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
