Teofilo Mercurio hit a great ball. Amadeo Tabor made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Aurelian Otopeanu sent off a good shot on target. San Lorenzo were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Armada's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodrigo Jakes took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Rodrigo Jakes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nicolae Hrandabur quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aurelian Otopeanu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Amadeo Tabor 17 minutes into the match. Amadeo Tabor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelian Otopeanu in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Rodrigo Jakes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Aurelian Otopeanu came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Armada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelian Otopeanu couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Aurelian Otopeanu sped through San Lorenzo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amadeo Tabor. San Lorenzo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dorin Mereuță 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo's Victorino Nafarroa got a free kick in the 40th minute. Amadeo Tabor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelian Otopeanu in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Dorin Mereuță fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amadeo Tabor, passed just outside the right post.

In the 52nd minute, Victorino Nafarroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Tabor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Mereuță in the 53rd minute of the match. After 53 minutes of play, Armada's Dorin Mereuță made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeo Tabor was left in no man's land by his defense there! 57 minutes into the match, Armada's goalkeeper Nicolae Hrandabur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Jakes. With a little luck, Armada's Nicolae Hrandabur got control of the ball when Rodrigo Jakes tried to sneak it across the goal line. San Lorenzo were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Armada's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodrigo Jakes took the corner. Amadeo Tabor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Chitoran, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute Aurelian Otopeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Tabor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Alexandru Pintilie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Tabor came out of the goal and Alexandru Pintilie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mihăiţă Mandache kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in San Lorenzo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Amadeo Tabor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorin Mereuță, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Jakes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 96th match minute, Armada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelian Otopeanu to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Jakes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Nicolae Hrandabur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. San Lorenzo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
