The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Baldomero Sustrai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Húsares booed when Szittyák SE rege was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamás Selymes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgilio Rafel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vendel Bács in the 10th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Szittyák SE rege's Imre Cseh slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Virgilio Rafel. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. Virgilio Rafel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Imre Cseh in the 17th minute of the match. Virgilio Rafel made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Vendel Bács sent off a good shot on target. Virgilio Rafel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihály Gerebics in the 20th minute. Virgilio Rafel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Imre Cseh in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vendel Bács got free with Virgilio Rafel in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Húsares's Virgilio Rafel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Húsares from getting a goal against them. Virgilio Rafel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihály Gerebics in the 29th minute. Imre Cseh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgilio Rafel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Imre Cseh in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Vendel Bács made a precise shot to the right of Virgilio Rafel. Húsares's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teo Cucao to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Húsares's goal looked a bit too open when Vendel Bács came free, but Virgilio Rafel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Húsares's Virgilio Rafel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vendel Bács in the 56th minute of play. If Mihály Gerebics had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Mihály Gerebics shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Rafel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Imre Cseh in the 64th minute of play forced Húsares's goalkeeper Virgilio Rafel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Mihály Gerebics shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Rafel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vendel Bács in the 67th minute of play forced Húsares's goalkeeper Virgilio Rafel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Tamás Selymes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szittyák SE rege fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Mihály Gerebics managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szittyák SE rege's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihály Gerebics was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Rafel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Húsares defense, Imre Cseh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Rafel. The Húsares fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Rafel should have stopped the shot. Imre Cseh scored 5-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgilio Rafel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute, Mihály Gerebics got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
