Fulgencio Luix might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrico Eleuteri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fulgencio Luix ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute, Fulgencio Luix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boulogne F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 31 minutes into the game, Cesano Boscone's Davide Zoff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jairo Hegoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 35 minutes, Fulgencio Luix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boulogne F.C. and the Cesano Boscone players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 minutes, Ernesto Ramoser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cesano Boscone and the Boulogne F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Enrico Eleuteri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Canor in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Luix dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Enrico Eleuteri, 2-4. Efrain Aureo charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 89 minutes of play Boulogne F.C.'s Efrain Aureo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 90th match minute, Boulogne F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Aureo to maneuver through the defense. Boulogne F.C.'s Filomeno Canor got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jairo Hegoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Maldini in the 94th minute of the match. Boulogne F.C. played a much better game than Cesano Boscone and deserved their victory. The Cesano Boscone players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
