The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Severino Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaudencio Weterio during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 played minutes Patagonicos FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Rafel. Justino Monico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Loco Gatti came out and tried to block the shot, but Justino Monico slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Gaudencio Weterio got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Constantino Bemabe. Loco Gatti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Monico in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Gaudencio Weterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Patagonicos FC's Loco Gatti got control of the ball when Gustavo Bide tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardino Frechoso hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Angel Paez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardino Frechoso charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardino Frechoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Alijilán returns booed when Patagonicos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Frechoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Paez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Loco Gatti. Patagonicos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Patagonicos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Bemabe came free, but Loco Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loco Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Monico in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantino Bemabe to make the kick off. Loco Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Bemabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Loco Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Monico in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Alijilán returns's Justino Monico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loco Gatti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After some careless play in the Patagonicos FC defense, Gustavo Bide kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loco Gatti. The Patagonicos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loco Gatti should have stopped the shot. Constantino Bemabe took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loco Gatti. Loco Gatti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Loco Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Bemabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Patagonicos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Constantino Bemabe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 89th minute, Gustavo Bide ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loco Gatti was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After 92 minutes of play, Alijilán returns's Constantino Bemabe made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loco Gatti was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Alijilán returns were the better team. Alijilán returns's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
