But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amauri Sampaio couldn't finish the play. In the 4th minute, Hugo Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Renato Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Fabiano Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Renato Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes of play, Capivara FC's Mateus Rossi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Renato Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Negri in the 24th minute of play forced Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Atlético Minuano's Cláudio Moreno got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes of play, Capivara FC's Edvaldo Leal made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Capivara FC's João Francisco Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Rodrigues in the 59th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Atlético Minuano's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Negri came free, but Paulo Renato Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Renato Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hernani Botelho in the 68th minute. In the 68th minute, Iuri Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Renato Velloso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hernani Botelho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 73 minute of play. Edvaldo Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Renato Velloso having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Edvaldo Leal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulo Renato Velloso. Edvaldo Leal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. 87 minutes into the match, Atlético Minuano's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Botelho came free, but Paulo Renato Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Atlético Minuano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the game, Hernani Botelho lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Paulo Renato Velloso. Capivara FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
