Alfonso Pantalone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Emil Frânculescu made a huge save. After the first half Steaua Bucuresti -MM- were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Without hesitation aimed to the right of Camillo Carlucci, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Steaua Bucuresti -MM- eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
