San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Nicanor Florian got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the TalleresUnited defense, Nicanor Florian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Ubelteso. The TalleresUnited fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Ubelteso should have stopped the shot. Zeledon Hitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Jorrin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TalleresUnited's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antonio Donzel in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Antonio Donzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, TalleresUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Amor came free, but Jorge Ubelteso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicanor Florian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Ubelteso having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Jacinto Gauargi made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Ubelteso. TalleresUnited's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romulo Jorrin to strike the kick off in the second half. If Lino Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Amor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Jorge Ubelteso made a huge save. TalleresUnited's Jorge Ubelteso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save TalleresUnited from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Melquiades Amor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorge Ubelteso. That made the score 1-3 after 75 minutes of play. Zeledon Hitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Lico in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Paolo Fagildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Melquiades Amor got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a little luck, TalleresUnited's Jorge Ubelteso got control of the ball when Melquiades Amor tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute, Cristian Demesio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over San Lorenzo de Sarandi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TalleresUnited throughout the match.
