After a defensive mix-up in Wambalamba FC's zone, Damazy Gongola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Pedro dos Santos came out of the goal and Damazy Gongola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Opus Dei's Ziemowit Niedzwiecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Goiano in the 4th minute of play. With a little luck, Opus Dei's Ziemowit Niedzwiecki got control of the ball when Dinei Goiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Pedro dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolek Buczak in the 13th minute of the match. Tolek Buczak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st match minute, Wambalamba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tostão Negri to maneuver through the defense. Ziemowit Niedzwiecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guga Secco in the 26th minute. Tolek Buczak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dinei Goiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ziemowit Niedzwiecki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinei Goiano ran back to his position shaking his head. João Pedro dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patryk Domarecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinei Goiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ziemowit Niedzwiecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Tolek Buczak struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. João Pedro dos Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Opus Dei. After a rather tough play, Opus Dei's Tolek Buczak got a free kick in the 46th minute. Hamílton Campidelis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ziemowit Niedzwiecki having to make a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tolek Buczak to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper João Pedro dos Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Slawomir Plaski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. João Pedro dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Buczak in the 66th minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper João Pedro dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Goiano in the 76th minute of play forced Opus Dei's goalkeeper Ziemowit Niedzwiecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th match minute, Opus Dei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Sakowicz to maneuver through the defense. When Piotr Bednarek fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Opus Dei's protests and gave Piotr Bednarek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Piotr Bednarek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Opus Dei's Norbert Poremba got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Guga Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wambalamba FC's João Pedro dos Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Wambalamba FC from getting a goal against them. If Guga Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wambalamba FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Opus Dei had controlled the match.
