Gražvydas Kadys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egidijus Buivys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Stålberg having to interfere. Egidijus Buivys hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Hogans Heroes's Marcus Haglund in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Savage Hippo's goalie prevented a goal. 22 minutes in the game, Marcus Haglund dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 25th minute, Marcus Haglund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Thor Mager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Jens-Åke Stenman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jogaila Palčiauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Egidijus Buivys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Savage Hippo's supporters rose to their feet, but Egidijus Buivys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristian Stålberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Egidijus Buivys to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Marcus Haglund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hogans Heroes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jogaila Palčiauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Mager in the 63rd minute of play. That made the score 0-2 after 75 minutes of play. 79 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Jogaila Palčiauskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Haglund. The supporters of Hogans Heroes booed when Savage Hippo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dovydas Raudys didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Marcus Haglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hogans Heroes's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Haglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jogaila Palčiauskas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Savage Hippo's Germanas Ramanauskas got a free kick in the 84th minute. Savage Hippo's Jogaila Palčiauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Haglund in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Savage Hippo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcus Haglund fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 91st minute, Egidijus Buivys got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Hogans Heroes booed when Savage Hippo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kęstutis Gasaitis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jogaila Palčiauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Erik Sandell, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
