An unexpectedly hard shot by Corrado Capone in the 12th minute of play forced Piquirenda FC's goalkeeper Freddy Elequemedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Elequemedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dave Saturno went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dave Saturno kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Silvestre Peter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Pizziolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Adriano Giampieri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lunatics of Arianrhod's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Giampieri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Elequemedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the game, Samuel Munio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piquirenda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lunatics of Arianrhod the free kick. After a rather tough play, Piquirenda FC's Samuel Munio got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 36 played minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod got a freekick which was hit by Antonello Michelini. After recieving a nice pass, Piquirenda FC's Fabricio Loi tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Victorio Eguntsenti's late challenge caught a Lunatics of Arianrhod's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorio Eguntsenti helped the player get up and apologised. Victorio Eguntsenti hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Silvestre Peters short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Antonio Pizziolo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half Lunatics of Arianrhod were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute Silvestre Peter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Pizziolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Pizziolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Edur in the 53rd minute of play.
